TERMS
DESTINATION CITY: The city where DELIVERYPS will deliver the SHIPMENT according to the DELIVERY ADDRESS provided by the SENDER.
COVERAGE: Refers to the postal codes where DELIVERYPS has delivery and/or pickup service nationwide, which varies depending on the type of SERVICE contracted.
RECIPIENT: The person to whom the SHIPMENT is addressed, as indicated in the LABEL.
DESTINATION ADDRESS: The address designated by the SENDER for the delivery of the SHIPMENT, which is included in the LABEL and where DELIVERYPS will deliver the SHIPMENT.
SHIPMENT: The properly packaged and labeled envelope or package that will be transported and delivered by DELIVERYPS to the DESTINATION ADDRESS.
DELIVERY GUARANTEE: The maximum time in which DELIVERYPS must deliver the SHIPMENTS covered by a LABEL according to the contracted SERVICE and corresponding coverage.
DELIVERYPS WEBSITE: The internet site http://www.DeliveryPS.com/ that DELIVERYPS makes available to CLIENTS and RECIPIENTS to obtain information about their SHIPMENTS.
SENDER: The person who sends the courier and parcel service.
OPTIONAL SERVICES: Value-added activities that DELIVERYPS can perform, including but not limited to: Change of Destination Address, Change of Date, weekend deliveries (Saturdays and Sundays), extended delivery, and Shipment Hold.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
With OPTIONAL SERVICES, the SENDER or RECIPIENT can decide where, when, and at what time to receive or pick up their SHIPMENT by making a request when tracking it through any of DeliveryPS's communication channels.
The SENDER and/or RECIPIENT can reschedule the delivery of their SHIPMENT, such as changing the DESTINATION ADDRESS, selecting a DeliveryPS branch, changing the delivery date, or requesting that the SHIPMENT be delivered during extended hours (6:00 PM to 10:00 PM), and if the SENDER, requesting a hold on the SHIPMENT.
These new OPTIONAL SERVICES are available for SHIPMENTS with a DESTINATION ADDRESS in participating cities such as: Mexico City and Metropolitan Area, Guadalajara, and Monterrey.
AVAILABLE OPTIONAL SERVICES: The OPTIONAL SERVICES that the SENDER and/or RECIPIENT can choose are:
1. CHANGE OF DESTINATION ADDRESS: The SENDER and/or RECIPIENT can request a change of the DESTINATION ADDRESS for their SHIPMENT to a new private address as long as the postal code of the DESTINATION ADDRESS corresponds to one of the participating cities. Additionally, the new postal code of the DESTINATION ADDRESS must belong to the same original DESTINATION CITY, for example:
- Original Postal Code GDL – change to Postal Code GDL or Metropolitan Area = APPLIES
- Original Postal Code GDL – change to Postal Code Quintana Roo = DOES NOT APPLY
The SENDER and/or RECIPIENT will select a new delivery date from a list of 5 available dates after the original delivery date based on DeliveryPS's delivery frequency and coverage. The OPTIONAL SERVICE will be delivered on the selected new date within an open time frame of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
2. CHANGE OF DATE AND WEEKEND DELIVERIES (Saturdays and Sundays):
The SENDER and/or RECIPIENT can select a new delivery date within a period of up to 15 calendar days (Monday to Sunday) after the estimated delivery date. The availability of dates varies depending on the delivery frequency and coverage of the postal code of the DESTINATION ADDRESS.
The OPTIONAL SERVICE will be delivered on the selected new date within an open time frame of 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
If the postal code of the DESTINATION ADDRESS does not have weekend (Saturday and Sunday) coverage, only Monday to Friday dates will be available according to the delivery frequency.
3. SHIPMENT HOLD: If this OPTIONAL SERVICE is selected, only the SENDER may request the hold of one or more SHIPMENTS before delivery to the RECIPIENT. Once the request is completed, each SHIPMENT will be assigned a return label (return label at the SENDER's cost) to return the SHIPMENT to the SENDER's address.
The SHIPMENT hold request cancels any other previous rescheduling.
If the SENDER wishes to perform a mass hold of SHIPMENTS, they may do so from the MI DELIVERYPS platform. For more information, contact your account executive.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
These OPTIONAL SERVICES apply only to labels with national guarantees: Next Day, Two Days, Ground, and 9:30 and 11:30 guarantees, in sporadic, prepaid with credit, prepaid without credit, and consumption modes, issued from DeliveryPS's different systems. They do not apply to other types of guarantees and guarantees with additional services.
To enable the OPTIONAL SERVICES, the SENDER's and/or RECIPIENT's 10-digit cell phone number and/or email address must be registered from the label issuance.
These OPTIONAL SERVICES do not imply an additional cost for the SENDER and/or RECIPIENT.
If eligible for OPTIONAL SERVICES, DeliveryPS will enable the option to select an OPTIONAL SERVICE when tracking the SHIPMENT through DeliveryPS's channels. DeliveryPS may trigger a notification via email and/or SMS to the RECIPIENT to inform them that they are eligible for an OPTIONAL SERVICE.
The request for OPTIONAL SERVICES cannot be completed if the SHIPMENT is in any of the following situations:
- Delivered
- Canceled Service
- Second delivery attempt
- Third delivery attempt
- Theft on route
- Canceled service or label
- Shipment lost, stolen, or missing
- Shipment in custody or held by authorities
- With an active service report (for incorrect delivery, damaged shipment, missing contents, coordination with DeliveryPS office, return to sender, shipment marked as fraud).
About the Request for OPTIONAL SERVICES:
The SENDER or RECIPIENT can reschedule the delivery of their SHIPMENT by tracking it from: DeliveryPS.com. To complete the rescheduling request, the SENDER and/or RECIPIENT must correctly enter the Validation Code that DeliveryPS will send to the registered email or cell phone (SMS).
The OPTIONAL SERVICES will be enabled once the SHIPMENT has entered the DeliveryPS network and before the SHIPMENT is routed for delivery to the DESTINATION ADDRESS. If the RECIPIENT is not at home for the delivery of their SHIPMENT on the first delivery attempt, the OPTIONAL SERVICE will be available again for the SENDER and/or RECIPIENT.
The SENDER and/or RECIPIENT will have up to 2 opportunities to reschedule, change, or cancel their OPTIONAL SERVICE request, as long as they meet the criteria to enable the OPTIONAL SERVICES.
The DELIVERY GUARANTEE for SHIPMENTS where an OPTIONAL SERVICE is requested will cease to take effect.
